I have red living room chairs what color accent chair will go with it?

The wingback chairs will be on the opposite wall (in a small room). I also want to get the Crimson colored Waverly Pantry Plaid drapes in there (so a lot of red). I can't decide what sofa/loveseat to get.

our brown furniture. I found some pretty chairs in a sage color that would probably match the curtains or but i also fell in love with the terracotta color on the chairs which would probably also look nice too. Should i buy the sage and match the curtains which is kinda boring or should i add a splash of color with the terracota? Let me know what you think thanks.

I am re-doing my room and I found this zebra chair that i like but it is too expensive, can someone find any zebra chair that looks like the one that is too expensive!! Also, it doesn't have to be zebra patterned but it could have a zebra accent like a pillow (so find a chair that would look good with zebra pillows)!! Or you can you find a chair that would go with my new room colors which is white, blue, and brown, but the chair can't be all white because the wall it is going near is white so it would clash!! Thank you in advance!!!! Any help is appreciated!!!

I have an olive green microfiber couch and I am wondering what color accent chairs I should buy? And also, what about a tv stand and table should they be cherry wood, black, pine?...to go with the olive couch color.

We are redecorating our living room and decided to start with the rug. We ordered this one: http://www.csnrugs.com/asp/show_detail.asp?sku=NT1567 Now that it has arrived I am stuck on what color couch (3 seater) and chairs (2 accent arm chairs) to order. The rug is somewhat true to the picture, but the red is a bit lighter, and the yellow is more like a "baby yellow" color. Our floors are dark brown wood, walls are cream, all other wood pieces are either brown or black/brown. The rug is so active (and there is a painting in the room that is also quite busy in a similar color scheme) that my instinct is to go white couch and white chairs and then pick up red and gold accents in the pillows and drapes. But white furniture also feels a little bit dull. Any other ideas for us?

I'm looking for a rug with red as the main color. It needs to be contemporary/modern with a geometric or abstract design. I've tried Target, Pier 1, Pottery Barn, Ikea, West Elm and even Walmart and neither of them have a rug that I just love. Does anyone know of a cool contemporary home store (not on the list) that may have what I'm looking for?

By definition, i am a contempory artist by living at this moment. But i am not a contemporary minded person. Contemporary art and its associated scene is a turn off. I do not want to participate!! But i keep making this stuff once called art.....

I have to do a small research paper on a contemporary artist. I am a psychology major and am interested in surrealism, but that's an older movement. I am looking for an artist with some sort of connection to psychology - perhaps in the art or perhaps this person had an illness? Thanks for the suggestions! What is the difference between lyrical and contemporary? I want to learn lyrical; can I just jump straight into a beginner's course or do I have to do jazz and ballet first? And same for contemporary - can you just jump in and learn from the beginning? I have my thoughts, but I need to clarify. I am 17 and have had my heart set on lyrical for years. Is there any hope for me to do lyrical? Thanks. And what's with modern?

I'm a little confused here by the term 'contemporary'. Is the difference just that 'classical music' now refers to music of the 18th-20th century (including the baroque, classical and romantic periods) whereas 'contemporary' is more 21st century 'art music'? Also, if anyone had any good well-known 'contemporary classical' composers would you be able to name me some so I can listen to the difference in their musical styles myself.

my friend and i are going to be in the talent show in two weeks and we need a song to dance to. we are both good at contemporary, so yeah. it really doesn't have to be THAT modern, just something with a fairly good beat.

How is contemporary dancing different from freestyle dancing? I am already into Freestyle (Bollywood) dancing, so, I want to know if taking up a small course in contemporary dancing will help me in any way.
